For someone who says she sings but can’t talk, I have to say, liar. Pink is a terrific speaker. When I saw it on Facebook today, I thought it was recent. But it is from 2o10. Still a great speech, but the US has not gone forward, as everyone had hoped, but backward, as the Christian Right has slowly taken over.

As she says, with all the problems in the world, why even talk about why it’s not okay for people to love, however that loves shows up.

I hear people talking about tolerance a lot. But I don’t want just to tolerate something that is different about another person. I want to understand it so I can open my heart wider to The CorD Way. How can caring, compassion, and connection occur when you only tolerating a person’s behavior or beliefs?

As long as no one is being hurt and the actions or beliefs aren’t being forced upon others, including me, then The CorD Way is how I wish to live my life. It is the ONLY way we are going to move forward on the humanitarian and ecological front. I hope it’s not too late. Until it’s over, we can only do the best we can do, and be the best we can be. That varies with each individual, but it is the way forward.

“Without tolerance, our world turns into hell.” –Friedrich Durrenmatt

More than anything else I’ve found, The Zeitgeist Movement Defined, Realizing a New Train of Thought, gives me more hope that a beautiful future is possible for all. Not right away, though. We all need to shift our thinking, open our hearts, and awaken to a new way of seeing the world. If you truly want to heal the planet and build a better future, download this book for free. I am on my second reading, have watched all three Zeitgeist Documentaries, posted here on EE, along with some of Peter Joseph’s interviews. Consider joining or starting a Zeitgeist Chapter where you live.

Check out Peter’s new book, The New Human Rights Movement, available at Amazon.com. I bought the hard copy so I can highlight the sections to which I want to refer back.
